Sterling Silver Four-Stone Amethyst Pendant, 18″

I bought this necklace as a gift for my niece and she loves it. The necklace is very dainty and looks lovely on her.

This pendant is well made but the stones do not look like amethyst stones. As another reviewer has said, these are a very light lilac. My first reaction on opening the box was that I had been sent the wrong order since the stones are almost colorless. The chain is very flimsy. This one is going back since it is not the color that is pictured.

This is very pretty, but the purple is not what I would expect from an amethyst. Perhaps my screen is calibrated poorly, but the purple is about 10 times brighter and darker in the photo. It’s still pretty in person, but the stonss are an incredibly faint lilac color, not amethyst purple.

I bought 2 of these for mother’s day gifts, received them the other day and the necklaces were placed in little velvet(esque) bags. . . this is a nice presentation I suppose, but the necklaces were completely tangled!! BOTH of them! I spent over an hour detangling the chains. They should really place these on cards at least so this doesn’t happen, it really soured my experience with buying jewelry from Amazon. Necklaces in the least.

Otherwise the pendants that I received are very true to the picture, you never know with screen settings, but they do match the color in the pictures that I see.

VERY nice necklace. I bought it for a gift and was ALMOST unable to give it up. MUCH nicer in person than it appeared in the picture!
